It was meant to be

I never realized how true to life the name of the blog is until recently.  We made this blog when I was only a few weeks pregnant, not knowing whether the baby was a boy or girl and definitely before we had any idea what he/she would look like.  We thought of the blog name because it would be our new lil' addition to the Pate family.  I did not realize how the name turned out to be so appropriate because Jack is truly a lil' (Aaron) Pate.  Luckily I don't think anyone has any concerns about who the father is, but if someone did, just one look at the two of them would settle it.  And, although its a bit early to figure out Jack's personality, its looking to be a happy, gregarious one, which is Pate to a T.  It was meant to be :)
