Half a year! Time flies by. It's been a busy month. As you can see, Jack has been fitted for his helmet. After 5 days of transitioning it on, he's now been wearing it 23hr/d for over a week. He has done great with it, never skips a beat. The biggest annoyances are, we have to be careful being in the heat with him because he can get overheated easily and its harder to snuggle, love and kiss his big ol' head. But, all in all minor complaints. AND, we've already noticed some changes. Jack recently weighed in at 16lb, 10oz. He's saying a lot of da da da's, sitting up mostly on his own (few tumbles here and there), eating two solid meals a day, supports weight standing up, and rolling in all directions. However, we weren't sure he was rolling from back to stomach until recently when we found him (very upset) on his tummy in his crib. Apparently he hates being on his tummy enough that he won't roll awake and when he woke up on his tummy he was so upset that he couldn't figure out how to roll back (despite the fact that we know he can do it).

Jack's also cut his first tooth. It hasn't seemed to slow him down much at all.
This is Jack "blowing raspberries". His current favorite sound to make. And some nice drool to go with it.
We were recently in TN visiting Gigi. As usual, I did a horrible job of taking pictures, but this was a shot from upstairs of the pallet that Gigi made for Jack to sleep on. The picture that I really wish I had was of the two of them laying on the pallet staring into each other's eyes and talking....
Grandpa also recently came for a brief visit and these boys got to spend some quality time together playing baranko-baranko-buc.
