I am so sorry for the delinquency in updates....
Jack is growing before our eyes. He has great head control and is
sitting upright in his Bumbo. He has become a bit of a drool monster
and is starting to figure out how to get things in his mouth (see
below). I used to be concerned how we might take the pacifier from
him....., but now I'm worried how we're going to remove his fingers from
his mouth. He's rolled over from his tummy to back a couple of times,
but its not consistent yet. He's lost a lot of his newborn hair and it
appears that light brown hair is to come (despite the fact that Aaron
and I were both toe-heads). He still has blue eyes at this point, but
there's still time that they may change. He is a happy, happy, happy
baby and LOVES to laugh and talk- wonder who he inherited that from ;)
Day care calls him Happy Jack. (We call him Jack Rabbit) He is a great
sleeper for both nighttime and naps, at home and day care. We still
struggle with painful reflux at feeding time, but at least we know he'll
grow out of it. He did great with physical therapy to loosen up his
neck muscles, but unfortunately the damage to his head is done and he is
going to be fitted for his helmet in a couple of weeks. Aaron has
already found a place to get the UGA decal......
He got to wear his sunhat today for the first time today as we took a walk today and it was beautiful.
