Big day

Today we took our first big outing (in other words further than 5 miles from our house).  We drove to SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson, SC to take our newborn photos (I'll share as soon as I get copies....).  Jack did not get the memo that most newborns are supposed to sleep through the photo shoot, so we spent the first 90 minutes trying to get him to fall asleep.  He wasn't being fussy at all, just wide awake. 

Since we were already out and about we continued to Mountain Rest, SC to Camp Chatuga, where Pate spent a lot of his younger years.

Maybe one day Jack will go to Camp Chatuga......
