I never realized how stressful choosing a child's name was until I had to do it. Not that it would be impossible for him to change it one day, but likely the choice we make now will be with our son for the rest of his life. And I don't even know what color his eyes are yet. Stressful.
So my "What to Expect" app suggested I may feel baby boy as early as 18 weeks. Well by 21 weeks, I was (quietly) starting to get a little worried that I hadn't felt anything. Well, by week 22 I realized what baby movements feel like (I now understand a lot of what I previously thought was gas bubbles was actually my sweet baby boy). Now that I know what I'm feeling, I feel like we've suddenly jumped to the point where Pate and I can now see him moving through my belly, à la "Alien". He's a mover and a shaker.
