Great Day

Today was a great day.  The weather was absolutely perfect with highs in the low 80s, sunny and breezy.  First stop was brunch at what is becoming our new favorite local restaurant, Lulu's.  Next stop was the White Water Center.  Started with my first real trail ride.  Got off to a rocky, no pun intended, start. But with some time, and my very patient husband, got more comfortable.  I'm still going to stick with a couple more trips on green trails, but hopefully will get better and better.  Baby commented that the bumpy ride felt like being stuck in a clothes drier.  Good thing there's all that fluid cushion.  Then we had another great meal, walked around the park and laid in the grass in the beautiful sun.  (I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out if that last sentence segment was grammatically correct [layed vs. lie vs. laid] and I still don't know if I got it, but please know that I tried).  Came home, took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood.  Now we're home and showered, worried about the sore muscles (and bottom!) that we're going to feel tomorrow.  So much fun.
